An Authorize.Net Payment Gateway account allows you to accept credit cards and electronic checks from websites and deposit funds automatically into your merchant bank account. Authorize.Net offers outstanding customer support, supports a variety of financial transactions and allows you to view transactions in real-time.
By comparison, most gateway services charge a set-up fee of anywhere from $20 to $90, $0.10 to $0.20 a transaction and a monthly fee of $10 to $30. Also, unlike the Elevate Merchants gateway, virtual terminals with recurring billing typically charge an extra $0.05 per transaction.
